How to Make Money with TeeChip

Want to make money online with no risk or upfront costs? TeeChip makes it easy to start a business without all of the costs it takes to build a whole business. We let creators sell custom printed t-shirts, drinkware, and phone cases to raise money.

Launching a campaign with us is free and free of risk. We produce and ship your orders. All you have to do is create a campaign, upload a design, and we’ll handle the rest. There are no minimums on orders - if you don't sell anything, you don’t lose anything, but if you’re able to sell even one item, you profit!

To help you get a clear understanding of our platform, we’ve broken down our process step by step and covered some of our most frequently asked questions.



Click “Upload Design” and choose the design you think will best sell to your target audience. Be creative with your artwork, and catch your customers' eye.

Q: What type of format is needed to upload a design?

A: While vector files are most preferred for printing, we can support the following high resolution files – JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP, PSD, AI, EPS, SVG, TIF.


Select the products and colors you would like to sell with your artwork, including t-shirts, hoodies, phone cases, and mugs. In this example, we’ve uploaded the TeeChip logo onto a bright orange colored classic tee to make the entire ensemble pop!

Feel free to move the design around or adjust the garment design size for the right artwork placement and look. Once you’ve selected your design, products, colors, and sizing, click “Next” at the bottom or the top right to continue the campaign launch. 



Under “Sale Price”, select how much you would like to sell your product for, and under “Expected Sales”, put down how much of your product you hope to sell. Lastly choose how many ink colors are in your design (this will only affect garment pricing). 


Looks like our shirt will make $631.12 in profits if we sell 50 shirts! Don’t worry. Even if you don’t meet your expected sales goal, we will still print and ship your items so you make a profit on the quantity sold. Sell even 1 shirt and still profit! If you exceed your sales goal, your price break will be based on the quantity sold.


Finally, set a title (in less than 50 characters) and description for your campaign. Set the number of days you would like the campaign to last, and put down a custom URL to make your store easy to access. Turn on the “auto restart campaign” function if you would like the campaign to restart once it’s ended. And turn on the “make campaign private” option if you don’t want your campaign in the TeeChip search results.


Click “Next”, sign up for an account, and you’re done. Through 4 simple steps your campaign is now created and launched! After you’ve created your campaign, you'll start receiving profits from each item sold, even if you only sell one item.


While your campaign takes off and orders start flowing in, we will print, pack, and ship your product to your customers so you don’t have to worry about a thing.


Q: How does the seller make money?

A: The seller makes money once a campaign has been launched and he or she receives their first purchase. On the “Set Goal” page we outline how much your base cost is, while you set the sale price. By subtracting the base cost from the sale price you can figure out how much you will profit.

Q: How exactly do payouts work?

A: Payouts are made through PayPal. Your profits will be made available to you within 5 business days after your campaign has ended.

Q: How long does it take for buyers to receive their product?

A: Mugs and phone cases are shipped out 48 hours after an order is placed. Clothing is shipped within 48 hours after a campaign comes to a close.
